DESCRIPTION

Daiwa’s new Seaborg 300J unlocks deepwater fishing with hand-held comfort and a sporting feel. Where hand-cranking deep water can leave anglers shoulders and arms throbbing the next day, the new Seaborg 300J puts that in the past. With its powerful MAGMAX G Motor, the Seaborg 300J enables anglers of all ages to fish depths in excess of 1000ft with ease.

Anglers can also control the fight and enjoy battle thanks to the JOG POWER LEVER that acts as gas-pedal for the motor, anglers can play the fish just as they would on conventional tackle. When it comes to the battle, anglers will appreciate the ATD carbon drag that exhibits a max drag of 35 pounds with a shock-absorbing smooth payout. Designed for use with lighter lines to maximize line capacity the new Seaborg 300J holds over 1000ft of 30 or 40lb braid line.

From snapper and grouper to lingcod and halibut this compact powerhouse is built to explore the deep with comfort and power.

FEATURES

jog_power_lever

JOG POWER LEVER

One finger operation, the JOG power lever allows for instant, variable speed, and power adjustment without having to take your hand off the rod.

ATD DRAG

Daiwa’s Automatic Tournament Drag uses an improved drag grease that exhibits a low viscosity at rest, yet becomes more viscous immediately after drag start up. This reduces initial drag start-up inertia and combined with the structural changes of the ATD Drag System results in a smoother drag from the initial hook up.

INFINITE ANTI-REVERSE

Daiwa’s advanced system that limits rearward backplay handle movement to almost zero for solid hooksets with less shock to the reel.  The result is the elimination of handle slapback and the unwanted release of line.
